Maybe it would be worth considering that as a general feature, a la Gmail sent delay.

In that fashion, a delay of say 1-5 minutes could be implemented for all notifications so in case of error (wrong clicks happen), the notification can be recalled before being sent.

From a user experience perspective, that delay rarely would cause trouble.
